Locanda Verde โ A Mixed Bag, But With Some Gems ๐โจ
My first visit to this well-known Tribeca spot left me with mixed feelings. While the space is beautiful and full of atmosphere, our table near the entrance was noisy and took away from the experience. If you book, request a seat in the main dining area โ it makes a difference! Hereโs the real deal on the food: ๐ Lamb Meatball Sliders A clear winner! Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Iโd come back just for these โ ideal with a glass of wine. ๐ Squid Ink Pasta with Crab Another standout. Generous chunks of crab and perfectly cooked pasta. Rich and satisfying! ๐ Roast Chicken Our server promised it would be juicy and tenderโฆ but it was dry, even the thigh. We ended up taking it to go. ๐ฐ Pistachio Cake Pretty average. Youโre better off getting dessert somewhere else (maybe Lady M?). ๐ Complimentary Mint Ice Cream A sweet touch for a birthday โ and honestly, the best dessert we tried! Refreshing and full of flavor. โญ Verdict: Go for the lamb sliders and squid ink pasta โ maybe skip the chicken and save room for mint ice cream! #LocandaVerde #NYCRestaurantReview #TribecaEats #HitOrMiss #FoodieNYC
