London’s Famous Beef Wellington | Bob Bob Ricard

Visited the renowned Beef Wellington spot in London. The restaurant serves classic British and French cuisine, with decor inspired by the Orient Express. Each table is like a train carriage, complete with a champagne button - press it, and a waiter will arrive with a bottle of bubbly! (P6) ▪️MAINS 🍗Chicken Kyiv (P4) Crispy on the outside with a buttery center that oozes out when cut open. The chicken is tender and pairs well with the green herb sauce below. 🥩Beef Wellington (P1) Their signature dish - golden, crispy pastry with tender, juicy beef inside. Both the meat and the pastry are excellent, with a layer of mushroom sauce in between, complemented by a red wine sauce. Served for two, but can be shared by 2-3 people. ▪️STARTERS 🍣Salmon Tartare Imperial (P2) Smooth salmon tartare topped with two types of caviar, perfect with crispy bread. Just a bit on the small side. 🦪Jersey Rock Oysters (P3) Fresh oysters with a subtle sea taste, but not very plump and a bit fishy. Oyster lovers should give it a try, but it might not convert non-oyster fans. Reservations are recommended. There’s a 15% service charge, and it’s best not to wear flip-flops.
