London’s Hidden Gem Restaurant 🥂 The Hero

The biggest takeaway from this business trip to London was the locals’ recommendation of this restaurant – The Hero - Maida Vale. I regretted not dressing up the moment I saw the cute dog logo outside, and the interior decor and food were simply stunning! 🎉 📍 Location: It’s in Maida Vale, London. The whole building is dedicated to this restaurant. The ground floor is a bustling pub, the first floor is the restaurant, the second floor is a bar, and there’s even a private room on the third floor. You can spend the whole night here. 🌟 Second Floor Bar: We arrived early and headed to the bar on the second floor first. The drinks were surprisingly delicious, no misses at all! 🍽️ First Floor Restaurant: We then went downstairs for dinner, and the food was beyond expectations! The bread served before the meal was a showstopper – crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and the dipping sauces were incredible. Along with the super fragrant butter 🧈, their homemade tabasco was to die for! The main courses were also fantastic, with fresh ingredients and obvious care from the chef. 🍺 Ground Floor Pub: After dinner, we went to the pub on the ground floor for another drink before leaving. The selection of drinks is vast, and the environment is so unique with a cozy little fireplace to gather around. It’s retro and warm, the whole ambiance is on point. 📅 I recommend making a reservation! Even on a Tuesday, it was packed. Apparently, most of the patrons are locals from the area, with relatively few tourists 🌟 💰 As for the cost, it’s up to you how much you want to spend.
