London’s Immersive Puzzle Adventure Park! 🎭🔍

I only realized upon arriving that so many people had already been to Phantom Peak’s previous themed events! As a first-timer, it definitely took me a little while to get into the swing of things. This time, the theme was "The Burning Blimp Festival", located near Canada Water Station. According to the info, this was a preview performance, and the actors were really going all out! The initial no-BGM musical performance on the small central stage was… well, a tiny bit awkward 😅. But once the background story was introduced and the main quest began—with everyone scattering to explore—the experience got much better! By scanning a QR code on-site, you’re invited to answer a series of questions, which then assigns you a mission storyline—basically directing you where to go, who to talk to, and what to ask. Different rooms have different tasks, like spinning a wheel, tuning a radio to find clues, or playing retro arcade games. Once you pick a storyline, the progression is fixed, which is different from shows like Sleep No More. Of course, you can always abandon your current quest and switch to another one! The puzzles themselves weren’t super challenging—mostly straightforward—and if you got stuck, you could just keep clicking hints until the answer popped up. We took our time, snacking and exploring, and one storyline took us from around 6 PM to 9:30 PM—quite a long session! That said, the set design was fantastic! The same room could serve multiple purposes across different storylines. There was even a hall with basketball hoops and wire-loop games, perfect for when you needed a break from missions. Outside the main quests, there were also pop-up events—we tried a block-stacking challenge and watched a rubber duck fishing game in the lake (both were time-limited and disappeared quickly). Food tip: If you plan to eat here, avoid the Buffalo Chicken Chips… they were terrible 😖. The marshmallows, though? Adorable and delicious! 🍡 There were two or three bars serving drinks, and if you didn’t want alcohol, the main hall had free cups and water—very thoughtful! Overall, at a discounted £10, it was totally worth it! The regular price is rumored to be £40-50, though… at that rate, I might need to think twice. 🤔 #London #LondonTheatre #PhantomPeak #Immersive #InteractiveExperience #ImmersiveTheatre #LondonDrama #PuzzleAdventure #EscapeRoomVibes #ThemedEvents #WhatsOnLondon
