London’s Mini Train 🚂 Accessible Postal Museum 📪
I recently discovered a really fun place, The Postal Museum, where you can take a mini tunnel train 🚂 tour. You can see the Royal Mail’s office and how they work and live underground. There are also many interactive exhibits to delve into the history of British stamps. A museum with an educational twist is truly enjoyable and worth exploring! 🎫 We can take the mini tunnel train, but remember to book your entry tickets and Mail Rail Ticket online in advance. The cost is £17.6 for an entry ticket that’s valid for a year (each subsequent Mail Rail ride is just £6). The mini train cars are actually converted from the original mail 📧 cars, so they’re quite low, but super cute. Following this well-preserved tunnel, listen to the commentary while watching a projector display the history of stamps. Explore and view various items related to the postal railway for a fully immersive experience. Near the exit, there’s also a free electronic photo booth 📷 with various adorable stickers for you to choose from. Edit and send directly to your email for a super cool keepsake. The interactive projects inside the museum are also super fun. They provide colored pencils for you to draw your own envelope ✉️, which you can send to a friend or keep for yourself, making it very meaningful. 🚪 As soon as you enter, you can play the aerial letter delivery game, write a note, put it in the pipeline, and watch it zip through the air until you can find it at the exit. There’s also a simulated letter delivery experience with vibrations, where you place markers in the right spots within the time limit, making it fun and thrilling. 📮 The museum is closed on Mondays and open from 10:00 - 17:00 other days. However, it’s usually fine to walk in during non-holiday periods. Come here to experience the charm of postal history; it’s super unique and interesting, definitely worth it. #LondonPostalMuseum #LondonCheckIn #LondonMuseums #London #LondonLife #UKTravelGuide #UKTravel #OffTheBeatenPath #UK
