London’s Time-Honored Italian Restaurant
🍴 Carre D’agnello Lamb Chop - The lamb is stewed to perfection, with no gamey taste at all; the base dish tastes like millet bread, for some reason, this dish reminds me of Xibei Restaurant back home. 🍴 Nodino di Vitello T-Bone Steak - The sauce is just right, not too salty or bland, but the downside is that the cooking temperature is a bit too high; I ordered medium-well but it felt like it was cooked all the way through; also, this steak is on the lean side, so it’s a bit tough to eat. 🍴 Risotto Mushroom Rice - It suits the Chinese palate, with almost none of the greasiness that other restaurants’ risottos have; the undercooked rice texture is acceptable, and the flavors of the various mushrooms blend well. I recommend it for mushroom lovers to try. ♦️ I’m not sure if it’s a characteristic of London restaurants or if this place is just very generous, but two of us shared one main course and two main dishes (we didn’t even finish the meat), and we had no room for dessert. It might be due to the way we ordered, but I’d recommend it for friends with a good appetite, haha. ♦️ It’s a quite traditional Italian restaurant, and the menu also features venison, rabbit, pheasant, and other game. Feel free to try if you’re interested. ♦️ It’s advisable to make a reservation in advance. #ItalianCuisine #RestaurantRecommendations #HiddenGemRestaurant #LondonRestaurants #Christmas #ChristmasDining #LondonFoodExploration #AtmosphericRestaurant #WesternRestaurant #UK
