London｜An Oyster Bar Worth Revisiting 🦪✨🍾

The Oystermen Seafood Bar & Kitchen Sharing this Covent Garden oyster spot again! �🍽️💫 Two years ago, I fell in love with 🦪 because of this place and have been back many times since. 🦪❤️🔥 After trying various spots, I still prefer this one—reasonably priced for London, consistently fresh oysters, and distinct textures/flavors that are absolutely delicious. 🎉👌 Tasting one or two of each variety is both fun and satisfying. Just be aware that arriving late might mean some types are sold out. ⏳😢 Remember to book ahead. 📅☎️ Some dishes here are good, but overall, the star is the oysters. 🌟🦪 The bread isn’t great, and the seaweed butter is just okay—skip it. 🥖🙅‍♂️ The scallops are worth ordering! �🧀 Last time I had them baked with cheese and breadcrumbs—so fragrant and tasty. 🔥🍴 The cured trout is very salty. �🧂 The sweet-sour apple dice helps a little, but it’s still quite intense. 🍏😖 The prawns are huge—springy, sweet, and super plump. 🦐💥🤯 So delicious! The slightly Thai-style sweet-spicy mayo and herb sauce are both amazing. 👏🍶 Just a bit pricey for what you get. 💸😅 On recent visits, I tried the spicy crab—a cheesy baked crab dip. 🦀🧀🔥 Loved it! The texture is like crab roe, packed with crab flavor and a noticeable spicy kick. 🌶️💫 Rich and decadent, loaded with crab meat and a strong butteriness. The top layer of cheese is crisply baked. 🧈🍞 Just watch out—the salt isn’t evenly spread, so some bites are extra salty. The focaccia is soft, chewy, and perfectly toasted. 🥖✨ For mains, I usually get a fish dish and a risotto. 🐟🍚 The fish is consistently excellent—tender, juicy, and sweet with a nice aroma. 🌊❤️ The sauces are thick, buttery, but often overseasoned. 🧈😕 As for risotto, the squid ink one is delicious, and the basil-infused langoustine is great too. 🖤🍤 Check the seasonal menu and give them a try! 📜🤩 For sides, the fries are hit or miss—when they’re good, they’re really good. 🍟🎯 I also like ordering the broccoli. 🥦💚 #LondonFood #LondonLife #UKLife #LondonExploration #LondonTravel #Seafood #Oysters
