🏰 London's Little-Known Free Attraction 🌟
The country mansions of British nobility are usually not free attractions, but London has a mansion that is entirely free, and it is also the former residence of the UK's first black "noble". I visited here two years ago. 🌳 Kenwood House, located in Hampstead Heath in North London, is one of the city's most distinctive manor houses, originally built around 1616 and later renovated in the 18th century by the famous architect Robert Adam. The architectural style is Georgian and neoclassical. The last owner of the mansion was Lord Iveagh, the owner of the Irish Guinness beer, who donated the estate to the nation after his death, and it has been free to the public ever since. 🌳The collections displayed here are mostly masterpieces of European old masters collected by Lord Iveagh. The garden of Kenwood House also frequently hosts concerts, with many artists, including Oasis's former lead singer Noel Gallagher, having performed here. 🌳Kenwood House is open for free every day from 10 am to 5 pm, no reservation required. #UK #London #KenwoodHouse #Nobility #Rembrandt #Exhibition #Art #CulturalLandscape #OffTheBeatenPath #TravelBeauty #FamousPaintings #WorldMasterpieces #MyDiary #NoteInspiration #DailyFragmentsPLOG #RecorderOfRomanticLife
