London's Popular Restaurant | A Bustling Michelin One-Star Bistro 🌟

A newly awarded Michelin one-star in London. When it first opened, it seemed to be the most talked-about restaurant in the industry 🔥 right next to The Ledbury in Notting Hill. The restaurant is small and there aren't many seats, but it's not as hard to book as it used to be. My feeling after dining is that the appetizers were good, but the main course was too complicated with too many sauces. Maybe my expectations were too high, and it was just average... The kitchen's strength lies in its very orderly operation, but the chef has too many ideas. He knows how to make a splash but doesn't know how to harmonize flavors well. This is just my personal opinion. I highly recommend my friend who went to Dorian recently, and they also told me that the sauces are a bit too heavy now. The previous dishes were simpler, and even the sauces were thin but the taste was exceptional. I sincerely hope that London's Michelin restaurants can be more straightforward, as various sauces + butter can be really greasy and lead to aesthetic fatigue. It's recommended to sit at the bar, where the lighting is good, and you can also see the kitchen's very efficient operation, as well as enjoy the smoke from the grill 🔥 with occasional big flames shooting up 🫡. The fried shrimp is delicious, and the squid is tender but a bit over-roasted and bitter. The green sauce is too heavy and overshadows the main dish. In short, the atmosphere is good, and I hope the chef can develop a more comfortable taste to return to the original deliciousness 🫡. #RecorderOfRomanticLife #MichelinRestaurant #LondonLife #London #RestaurantRecommendation
