🎂Celebrating a bestie's birthday in London, I wanted to find a stunning place to make her celebration beautiful. A week in advance, I booked Gloria, a restaurant under the Bigmama brand. It was as stunning as expected and surprisingly delicious! · 🍽For two of us, we ordered 3 main courses + 2 drinks + 1 dessert, and everything was a hit, perfect for photos: · 🍸The Big Mamma Classic Carpaccio (Raw Beef) 💷18 We enjoyed this as a starter 😋 It's a huge plate, and a waiter will come to help mix it for you. You can tell them how many portions to make. · 👍GIRELLA ALLA BOLOGNESE £18.5 Beef and pork are slow-cooked for a long time, paired with classic tomato sauce, making it incredibly rich in flavor. The pasta is stuffed with cheese, offering a very satisfying bite. · 👍Ribeye Steak, Medium Rare £34 Though the plate is large, the steak portion is modest. The meat is very tender, and the eggplant is a bit charred, but overall, it's still quite good. · 👍Tiramisu for Dessert £8 The tiramisu for dessert is absolutely stunning, with a taste that rivals the classic version in Rome. The coffee liquid is perfectly absorbed by the ladyfingers, and the cocoa powder on top is smooth and delicate, with a hint of bitterness that's not at all cloying. · 👍Coco Loco £9 It's an alcohol-free version of a pina colada.
