London | Affordable Viral Thai Food Near the British Museum!
Recently, I’ve been craving Thai food, especially the sour and spicy Tom Yum soup. So, I found this affordable Thai restaurant near UCL—around £30 per person (we ordered a lot, but you could easily keep it under £20!). 💜 The place isn’t big. We went at 8:30 PM, and there were still a few tables occupied. The staff were super considerate—seeing we were Chinese, they gave us a QR code to access the menu in Chinese with pictures. 🌟 Must-Try: Mango Sticky Rice Sweet mango with coconut milk—refreshing, beautiful, and delicious! 🌟 Pineapple Fried Rice Perfect for the Chinese palate. We got the chicken version, though the chicken was a bit dry. But paired with pineapple🍍, it was still tasty! 🌟 Snack Platter A mix of Thai-style fried skewers, £8.2 per person. Great for indecisive eaters! Includes spring rolls, bread slices, satay chicken (with authentic sauce), fried chicken legs, and Thai fish cakes. 💗 Tom Yum Soup Finally, the Tom Yum soup I’ve been dreaming of! We got the seafood version, and it was super satisfying. 💔 Papaya Salad Felt like it needed more spice? Compared to the Vietnamese food on the Isle of Dogs and what I had in Malaysia, this was milder. Still worth a try! 📍 Siam Central About an 8-minute walk from UCL, the British Museum, and Tottenham. A super authentic Thai spot on the corner. #London #LondonThaiFood #LondonFoodExploration #ThaiCuisine #LondonFoodie #UK #LondonFoodSpots #FoodLover #LondonMustEat #HiddenGemRestaurants
