London | Aline Lebanese
This Lebanese restaurant on 📍Maddox Street is called Aline Lebanese Kitchen, and it’s right across from the popular Ergon Deli 😊 During the weekday lunchtime, the place is packed to the brim with a 100% occupancy rate, and there are many office workers getting takeaways, which keeps the staff super busy 😂 We made a reservation, but when we arrived, the table wasn’t ready yet. But hey, it seems like service in Mayfair restaurants is generally just okay 😅 They offer a lunch set menu where you can choose two skewers from 1x chicken and 2x lamb, but since I don’t eat lamb, I just ordered a single grilled shish taouk. The restaurant also serves a small salad/rice on the side, and the portion is generously served, enough to fill you up for sure 🍗 The seasoning on the chicken is spot on, and my companion’s lamb Kafta was also highly praised – it’s the best Kafta in London! 🫣 Another reason I really like this place is that the meal doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. London has no shortage of Middle Eastern cuisine, but usually, after eating, I feel like I need a long break before wanting to eat it again. Not the case with this restaurant! 🥗 #GlobalFoodSquad #RepeatRestaurantVisits #LondonFood #HiddenGemRestaurants #LondonLife #RestaurantRecommendations #LondonMiddleEasternCuisine
