📍 The Painted Hall at the Old Royal Naval College 🚉 Transportation: 🚗 1-hour drive from the city center 🚇 Take the DLR to Cutty Sark station, then navigate on foot for about 4 minutes. It’s recommended to enter through the Visitor Center, where you can buy tickets on the spot. 🕑 Opening Hours: 10:00~17:00, it’s less crowded after 16:00 🎫 Admission: Free to visit the outside areas; tickets required for the Painted Hall 👉🏻 Available on the website or at the venue 🎟️ Adult tickets £16.50, students £9.5 (don’t forget your student ID!) 🗺️ After buying your ticket, you’ll get a map. Follow the directions to the Painted Hall, and there’s also a church nearby to explore! 🔭 It’s close to the Royal Observatory Greenwich, so you can tick that off your list too ❗️ 👉🏻 There were previous Earth and Moon exhibitions, and now it’s the Mars exhibition‼️ 📆 Open until January 28, 2025 🏛️ The installation art piece “Mars” by British artist Luke Jerram is currently hanging in the Painted Hall. This is a 7-meter diameter astronomical art piece, a replica of NASA’s Mars surface imagery at a scale of 1:1 million. 💡 It’s internally lit and externally surrounded by an immersive soundscape created by BAFTA-winning composer Dan Jones. 🌠 The sensation is incredible, watching this sphere slowly rotate, it’s like being transported to the vast universe~ #LondonArtExhibitions #LondonChurches #OldRoyalNavalCollege #MarsExhibition #OffTheBeatenPath #LondonLife #UKTravel #Astronomy #WeekendPlans #Greenwich
