London | Burgess Park: A Park for Goose-Watching, Pigeon-Feeding, Duck-Chasing, and Fishing ππ³
The weather in London today is absolutely fantastic! Seeing the blue sky and white clouds just brightens up my mood! Here's a share of some beautiful photos from the park. π³ Burgess Park covers an area of 56 hectares and is the largest park in Southwark, very close to the Elephant & Castle. One great thing about London is the abundance of green spaces, but not every park has a lake. Burgess Park's charm is enhanced by its lake, which brings a lively beauty and attracts many animals. π¦ If you also enjoy watching these fluffy little cuties, come and sit by the lake. They sometimes play in the water and sometimes walk on the shore, not at all shy. Except for pigeons, feeding other animals is not recommended. Fishing enthusiasts can buy tickets online and set up a tent for a day of fishing. It's also a paradise for dog-walking. πΎ Additionally, this park is a great sports venue, with 7 outdoor tennis courts, a 5km running track, and a sports center for football, rugby, and more. I went there mainly to play tennis today; the courts need to be booked online in advance, costing about Β£6.3 per hour, which might be popular because it's the holiday season. π· The park also features a separate Chumleigh Gardens and play areas that children love. Friends, when the weather is nice, you must come out for a walk; the 20-minute park effect is real!! #London #Park #WeekendGetaway #Lake #UK #Sports #20MinuteParkEffect
