London | Burgess Park

** A Park for Watching Geese, Feeding Pigeons, Herding Ducks, and Fishing** The weather in London today is amazing!!! Seeing the blue sky and white clouds instantly brightens my mood! Sharing some beautiful photos of the park. 🌳 **Burgess Park** spans 56 hectares and is the largest park in Southwark, very close to Elephant & Castle. One great thing about London is its many parks and green spaces, but not every park has a lake. Burgess Park is especially charming because of its lake, which attracts lots of animals and adds a lively beauty to the area. 🦆 **If you also love watching these fluffy little cuties, come sit by the lake. Sometimes they play in the water, and sometimes they walk on the shore, completely unafraid of people. While pigeons can be fed, it’s not recommended to feed the other animals. For those who enjoy fishing, you can buy tickets online and set up a tent for a day of peaceful fishing. This place is also a dog-walker’s paradise.** 🎾 **Additionally, this park is a fantastic spot for sports. There are 7 outdoor tennis courts, a 5km running track, and a sports center where you can play football, rugby, and more. I went today mainly to play tennis. The courts need to be booked in advance online for about £6.30 per hour. They were quite popular, probably because it’s a holiday. (There’s a café next to the tennis courts with restrooms that belong to the park. You can use them. If the door is closed, just ask the café staff to open it from the inside.)** 🌷 **The park also has a separate Chumleigh Gardens and play areas that kids love. After visiting the park, you can head to Elephant & Castle for some Chinese food or a trip to the Chinese supermarket—a day full of dopamine!** **Friends, when the weather is nice, you have to get out and walk. The "20-Minute Park Effect" is real!** #London #Parks #WeekendAdventures #Lakes #UK #Sports #20MinuteParkEffect
