Find Things to DoFind The Best Restaurants

London | So Many Delicious Japanese Eateries!

Another rare find that I’ve reordered multiple times (both takeout and dine-in) in London: ✨ Machiya ✨ Located in the city center, this small shop also has a bar downstairs. 🍜 Niku Udon (Beef Udon): Their udon noodles are truly delicious! They’re light and refreshing, without that raw flour taste. The beef portion is generous and has a sweet, Sukiyaki-like flavor. 🍜 Pork Katsudon (Pork Cutlet Rice Bowl): The pork cutlet is incredibly tender and juicy, with a crispy exterior. I was worried it wouldn’t be as satisfying as curry, but the soft, runny egg mixed with the rice is perfect—it’s not dry at all. 🍜 Agedashi Tofu (Deep-Fried Tofu): The deep-fried tofu is really tasty 😋 and not overly salty like some places I’ve tried. 🍜 Negima Yakitori (Chicken and Green Onion Skewers): I didn’t take a photo 😭, but it was amazing! The chicken is chewy, and the green onion flavor isn’t overpowering. It’s definitely on par with specialized yakitori shops. 🥒 Hibachi Kurumaebi (Zucchini and Shrimp Stir-Fry): A healthy option that I recommend for those who love zucchini or want something different at a Japanese restaurant. I feel like London has so many small Japanese eateries that are truly delicious, even better than some of the highly recommended places that feel a bit like assembly lines (just saying). #WinterJapaneseCanteenOpen #ImmersiveJapaneseCuisine #StudentMeals #StudentExploration #JapaneseFood
