London | Stomach-Friendly Portuguese Cuisine 🦴🥗🍹🤤
As a woman who finds it hard to find satisfying meals, I was super pleased with this Portuguese food! 📍 Casa do Frango London Bridge (There are many branches, and you can make a reservation in advance.) 1️⃣ My favorite was the P3 MUSHROOM A BRAS : 🍄 It comes with two types of mushrooms, super thin fries (almost like mashed potatoes), and a layer of crispy fried onions on top. It’s really delicious with a rich texture and flavor! 2️⃣ PIRI-PIRI Garlic PRAWNS : A bit like baked tiger prawns with a slightly sweet and tangy taste; four prawns included. 🦐 3️⃣ PIRI-PIRI CHICKEN : A half roast chicken 🐔 that’s deboned. It’s not super tender but not dry either, and the flavor and sauce are really tasty! 😋 4️⃣ CHARRED CAULIFLOWER : A large head of roasted cauliflower with a green sauce on top (it has a pistachio flavor). It tastes like barbecue overall, but ours was a bit overcooked and looked a little burnt. 🥹 5️⃣ PASTEL DE NATA : Egg tarts! Many people recommended them, but personally, I didn’t like the taste. They seem to have added ginger, giving it a ginger flavor (maybe to cater to the British love for 🫚). If you like ginger or want to try it, go ahead, but I prefer KFC’s egg tarts. 🙂↕️🙂↕️ We went on Valentine’s Day, and the ambiance and service were great. It’s a perfect spot for a date! We also ordered two glasses of wine, and the total came to around £40 per person (it would be even cheaper without drinks). #LondonRestaurant #LondonPortugueseCuisine #LondonDateSpots #LondonFood
