London | The Best-Kept Secret for Steak Lovers

Sometimes when I crave steak, I head to this hidden gem of a restaurant. It’s very niche, with hardly any crowds, and has a cozy, homely feel. It serves modern British cuisine. 🥩 Rib Eye Steak I ordered mine medium, and it was incredibly tender with a perfectly seared exterior that had a subtle smoky flavor from the charcoal grill. The accompanying broccoli and cherry tomatoes were incredibly sweet and fragrant. Truly, great ingredients need no extra seasoning. 🧂 Green Peppercorn Sauce This is the steak’s accompanying sauce, with peppercorn bits that add a slight spiciness. It pairs well with the steak, but personally, I prefer their red wine sauce. It has a smoother texture that doesn’t overpower the beef’s natural flavor. 🐓 Chicken Milanese Essentially, it’s breaded and pan-fried chicken breast, golden and crispy on the outside, with a thin layer of grated Parmesan cheese on top. Who would have thought I’d describe chicken breast as tender and juicy? Served with arugula and chunks of potatoes, it’s both healthy and delicious. 🥔 Truffle Maris Piper Mash Absolutely delicious! It has a strong truffle flavor, and the mashed potatoes are incredibly smooth. Paired with my steak, it was a match made in heaven. 🍮 Toffee Pudding A very British dessert, with toffee sauce drizzled over a bouncy cake, topped with vanilla ice cream. They also served a steamed pear, which was a great palate cleanser. If you can’t handle too much sweetness, you might want to skip this. #LondonFood #LondonRestaurants #BritishCuisine #Steak #LondonSteakhouse #LondonSteak
