London | Wiltons Seafood Restaurant 🦞
🦞 Wiltons is a historic seafood restaurant, established in 1742, and has been around for nearly 300 years. The restaurant is located on Jermyn Street, an area in London known for housing many asset management companies. My friends and I had a dinner reservation on a Monday night, and the place was filled with well-dressed business professionals. We really enjoyed the restaurant's decor, which is understated and exudes an old-money style. Various oil paintings hang on the walls, making it feel like dining in an art gallery. 🦪 As an oyster enthusiast, this was a must-order dish for me. The oysters were large, fresh, and had a slight sweetness – very satisfying. For the appetizer, I had crab meat with avocado, which was generous in crab meat and combined with avocado and some fruit and vegetable juice, and I thought it was quite good. My friend chose the house-smoked salmon, which was a substantial portion with a decent flavor. 🦞 For the main course, we opted for a grilled lobster with a vegetable salad and fries. It was just right for two ladies to share. The lobster was not small, grilled to perfection with a subtle barbecue flavor that maintained the firm and juicy texture of the lobster meat – highly recommended. 🍰 For dessert, we chose the strawberry Meringue cake, which was delicious. 💐 Overall, I am very satisfied with the restaurant. The service was good, the flavors were excellent, the artistic atmosphere was rich, and it was not noisy. #HiddenGemRestaurant #NoteInspiration #UKLife #LondonRestaurant #SeafoodRestaurant #Seafood #London #DateNightRestaurant #LondonLife #RestaurantRecommendation #MyHomeCookingDiary #Food #LondonFood
