London Adventure Stop #3: Victoria Park – A 10K Run 🏃‍♀️💨

Today, my husband and I went for a 10-kilometer run together! We started tracking on our running app right from our doorstep and stopped exactly at 10K. After over a month without running, we took it slow—just to stretch our legs, enjoy the sunset, and soak up the outdoors. Our route took us from home to Mile End Park, where we ran along the river with views of Queen Mary University on the opposite bank. Then, we crossed into the massive Victoria Park (seriously, it’s huge!) before looping back. On sunny days, this park is perfect for leisurely strolls or picnics. Along the way, we spotted plenty of runners—though not many East Asian faces among them. By the time we returned to Mile End Park, we’d hit our 10K goal. We paused to play on the outdoor fitness equipment—my husband aced the arm-strength challenges (I filmed his smooth moves as proof!), while I stuck to cheering him on. 🌅 Running into the sunset, surrounded by beauty, was pure bliss. This route is a keeper for future jogs! Love in the Little Things ❤️ With my husband, even the ordinary feels magical. He ran on my left, shielding me from the river’s edge. He’d squeeze my hand to match my pace. We paused for golden-hour selfies—because why not? #LondonLife #RunningTheWorld #SpringRunning #CoupleGoals #RunningTherapy #VictoriaPark
