London Art Viewing | Playing Mario Kart 🏎️ in a Museum
The Museum of Home in East London is a very low-key and niche museum. When I visited, there weren’t many people around, but it surprised me more than I expected! The museum is divided into two floors, plus a large garden. The first floor briefly introduces the characteristics of British furniture from different eras. There was an old disc TV 📺 set up, with a bunch of different vintage game discs next to it. I sat on the sofa and played Mario Kart 🏎️🏁 for about ten minutes, instantly transported back to the happy times of spending afternoons at my grandmother’s house with a game controller! Besides that, there are many interactive installations that I won’t spoil! You can discover them slowly when you visit~ The second floor mainly showcases the interior decorations of British homes from the 1600s to different eras. Mid-century furniture enthusiasts will be thrilled! I particularly enjoy looking at these real-life furniture displays, staring at them and imagining what it would be like if I were to travel back in time and live in one of these houses~ The small garden outside the museum is also worth a visit, with many beautiful flowers to explore! A stroll around instantly heals the soul 💕 🏠 Recommendation Index ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🎫 🆓 (Free Entry) 🕐 Closed on Mondays #MidCenturyFurniture #LondonMuseums #LondonArtViewing #LondonLife #MarioKart #ArtViewing #Museum #MustVisitMuseums #London #Furniture #Mario #Mario #ExhibitionsToSee
