London Dorian
šThis Michelin-starred bistro, Dorian, located in Notting Hill, was a place Iād booked with friends a long time in advance. Iāve always wanted to go, but itās a bit far from where I usually am. Nonetheless, the overall experience was quite pleasant. šEspecially the venison, we ordered it medium-rare, and the magical thing is that once you take a bite, the venison seems more well-done and chewier than it looks, which might be due to the tight structure of the venison itself. šAnother dish I enjoyed was the scallop column, accompanied by a molecular gastronomy base that was sweet and creamy upon entry! The texture was very rich, but my friend mentioned that their scallop columns and lobsters are not as large as before, possibly due to seasonal reasons. šWhile the environment and the food were nearly perfect, there are some drawbacks to mention! The restaurant is incredibly loud; you have to shout to talk to your friends. Also, since it has an open kitchen, thereās inevitably a bit of a barbecue smell, but itās bearable. If you have a coat, you can ask the staff to hang it up to avoid picking up the smell. šAfter the meal, you can also stroll around the nearby streets, which is quite interesting. There are many atmospheric restaurants on both sides of the street, perfect for taking photos. The residential areas on either side of the street also gave me a feeling of not being in London. #Steak #LondonNottingHill #MichelinRestaurantExploration #DateRestaurantRecommendations #FoodieHeaven
