London Eats 003: Goodman Steakhouse 🥩✨
📍 Multiple locations (We visited Mayfair: 24-26 Maddox St, W1S 1QH) The Steak Selection 🔪 Bone-in Ribeye (550g, £72) *Grass-fed, 50-day dry-aged Pure Black Angus* Medium-rare perfection: Crust like shattered glass, interior bursting with juices Flavor bomb: Each chew released deeper beefy, nutty, almost blue cheese-like complexity 🥩 USDA Prime Filet (250g, £65) Grain-fed for buttery tenderness Silky texture, though less intense than the ribeye Sides & Sauces 🥬 Creamed Spinach (£6.5) Shockingly good! Al dente leaves in light cream – the perfect rich-yet-fresh counterpoint to steak. 🍟 Truffle Cheese Fries (£8) Decent, but overshadowed by the mains. ⚠️ Skip the sauces (£2.5 each) – Their béarnaise was gluey, peppercorn one-note. Just ask for Maldon salt & cracked pepper. Verdict 🏆 Ribeye = Best in London (Beats Wolfgang’s & BLT Steak!) 💸 Pricey but worth it for special occasions #GoodmanSteak #LondonSteakhouse #DryAgedBeef #FoodieReview
