London Exhibition | Accidentally Stepping into Alice’s Adventures ♠️

East London’s Chisenhale Gallery is hosting Bruno Zhu’s first UK institutional solo exhibition, “License to Live”! 🌟 Zhu’s work, inspired by fashion design, publishing, and stage scenery, explores the complex relationships between agency, power, consumption, and authorship through object-led installations. Centered around a detailed “license agreement,” the exhibition is designed as a unique visual and contemplative experience. 🎨 Exhibition highlights include: ✅Custom colors like red, green, yellow, blue, purple, etc., blending historical narrative with elements of decorative art. 🎨 ✅Creatively designed display cases inspired by poker symbols, abstractly pointing to colonial heritage and a history of violence – a very intriguing interactive piece. 🃏 ✅A reinterpreted 19th-century design (like parquet flooring and Damask wallpaper), exploring the modern representation of historical styles. 🏰 This exhibition not only breaks the boundaries between art and space but also provokes thought on the concepts of “novelty” and “control” in artistic labor and cultural production. 🤔 📅 Until 2.2 2025 📍 Chisenhale Gallery 🎴 License to Live #LondonExhibition #ContemporaryArt #ChisenhaleGallery #ArtRecommendation #BrunoZhu #LicenseToLive #ArtAndDesign
