London French Breakfast Recommendation - A Cure for OCD
Cédric Grolet, the fruit maestro, has had his shop in London for quite some time now. It’s located at the Berkeley Hotel, just beside Hyde Park and very close to Harrods! This was my second visit, and it’s perfect for a lazy weekend to enjoy a quiet yet indulgent slow morning to start your day. If you want to dine in, you need to make a reservation in advance. But if you’re just grabbing pastries, you can come as early as 8 a.m. However, if you’re after Cédric Grolet’s special fruit desserts, you’ll have to wait until 11 a.m. The overall prices at the breakfast shop are on the higher side, making it more suitable for a photo-worthy experience. Overall Rating: 4/5 Average Cost per Person: £10-30 Croissant (443 kcal) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 The croissant here is genuinely larger than the average one! It was delicious when freshly baked, though it might lose its charm if left out for too long. Pain au Chocolat (505 kcal) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 I actually prefer the pain au chocolat over the croissant. It’s also on the larger side, and one piece is pretty filling. I love how their bread is displayed—it looks so neat and organized. It’s like a cure for OCD. Vanilla Flan (536 kcal) 🌟🌟🌟🌟 They say this place has the best flan in London, so I had to try it. The flavor is excellent, with a rich vanilla taste that meets the standards of a classic French dessert. Acai Bowl (86 kcal) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you, like me, dislike the icy cold acai bowls from other acai shops, don’t miss their acai bowl! Although it’s a bit pricey, the acai flavor is truly exceptional. Before leaving, I bought two of their signature fruit desserts to try. #CafeDesserts #LondonBreakfast #FruitGuy #PrettyFoodInLondon #FrenchSweets
