London Hide|You Must Have a Drink in London Before You Leave!

Hide is famous as a Michelin-starred brunch spot. 🍽️✨ I’ve always wanted to try it but kept missing out on weekends. This time, when my friend wanted to take some aesthetic photos, I immediately thought of Hide! Surprisingly, I was completely blown away by their cocktails! 🍹💖 Highly recommend stopping by for a drink even if you’re not dining (menu at the end!). 🍸 Cocktails (🤤 Must-try! All can be made as mocktails) 🍈 BASIL KING OF ITALY: A burst of rich fruitiness with a refreshing blend of melon and plum wine. The vodka is barely noticeable—smooth, light, and purely fruity. My absolute favorite! 🥂💚 🍇 RUBY RED ORACLE: A tangy grapefruit aroma hits first, slightly bitter with a hint of sweetness. The sparkling wine adds a crisp freshness, balancing the bitterness of the peel. Tasty, but I’m not a fan of bitter flavors! 😖🍊 🍓 STRAWBERRIES & THE DEVIL’S PACT: The "strawberry" is actually white chocolate shaped like one! 🍫 The staff advised taking a sip of alcohol after a bite of chocolate. The sweet white chocolate is instantly cut through by the oak and spice of whiskey, weaving together fruitiness and smokiness—yet the finish magically brings back the strawberry’s sweetness. 🤯🍓 🍽️ Mains (❌ Average, not recommended!) 🐟 Barbecued wild seabass, tarragon chimichurri, baby gem & shellfish bisque – Decent but forgettable. 🥩 Cooked over charcoal to share: 50 day-aged Lake District short-horn ribeye 600g – Good for meat lovers, but nothing extraordinary. 🥔 Crispy potato cake – If you miss layered potato dishes from back home, give this a try! 🥔😋 🍮 Desserts (😍 Absolutely divine!) 🍦 Meadow hay ice cream, oat cake, strawberries & lemon verbena: Crunchy oat cake topped with cool, creamy ice cream—the milky sweetness blends perfectly with the subtle graininess. Tart strawberry bits keep it from being too sweet. So delicious! 🍓💛 🍫 Warm chocolate tart & oak ice cream: The crust is flaky and crumbles at the touch, while the warm, velvety chocolate oozes out, mingling with the ice cream. As a chocolate lover, this tart stole my heart! 🍫🔥 💁 Service & Details First time seeing a restaurant with charging ports, power banks, and different cables at every table—amazing service! ⚡👍 💰 Bill Total for two: £349.45 (~£174.73 per person) #LondonEats #LondonFood #Michelin #Bar #HideLondon
