๐ London Italian Cuisine Recommendation | Sartori
When dining in London, you can always trust Google Maps. This family-run Italian restaurant has super authentic flavors and is so delicious that I told my friends right after eating that I would definitely come back. The place is frequented by many locals. It seems like the entire street is dedicated to Italian cuisine. On a Monday night, after visiting the National Gallery, my friends and I strolled over to this place. Seeing that Google Maps rated it well, we just walked right in. It wasn't too crowded, but I'm not sure if reservations are needed on holidays. ๐ Calzone Pizze The pizza was recommended by the staff. It came with spicy salami, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese, mushrooms. It's a very authentic Italian pizza without too many toppings, so it's not greasy. We were seated in a spot where we could see the pizza oven. Every pizza is freshly baked, with a strong aroma of wheat, the crust is nicely charred, and the base is chewy. I usually don't eat the pizza crust, but this time I didn't miss a single bite ๐. ๐ Mussels, Clams, Squid, Cockles, and Sea Bass with Garlic Baguette The menu just lists these ingredients as if reading them off ๐ข I couldn't decide on a main course, so I took a photo of the menu and asked chatgpt to choose for me. She picked the most expensive one for me. But it was worth every penny, with plenty of seafood and very filling. We ended up with a few clams and prawns left over. The baguette that came with it was especially delicious, probably freshly baked, very crispy, and it paired well with the tomato-based sauce. #London #LondonFood #UK #MyStory #UKLife #ItalianCuisine #RestaurantRecommendations #DateNightRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurants #FoodDaily
