London Nine Elms | Darby’s Meat Lover’s Paradise 🥩
I’ve been here twice already, and it’s won the heart of this meat lover. They have their own bakery on site. Both times I visited, I ordered the sourdough bread with butter 🧈, which I highly recommend. The crust is crispy and chewy, while the inside is soft and slightly tangy – delicious. For starters, I had the smoked chicken nuggets, which were delicate – just two on a plate, with a decent flavor. I also tried a crab meat slider, which was small but had a great taste – recommended. The main event ⚠️ a 400g dry-aged bone-in sirloin and an 800g dry-aged bone-in ribeye. There’s nothing much to say; it’s a must-order. My girlfriend isn’t a fan of rare meat, so we ordered it medium-rare, which didn’t affect the taste at all. It was full of flavor, with a perfect aging time that kept the beef tender and full of flavor ❤️ (they have an aging room on the second floor). I’ve ordered their beef pie with bone and marrow both times I visited. It has a layer of flaky pastry on top and a generous amount of beef filling below. It’s a bit salty, so I wouldn’t highly recommend it. For sides, I recommend their buttered fries 🍟, which are also a must-order. They have a rich texture, crispy on the outside, and tender inside, with just the right amount of salt – yummy 😋 The first time I visited, some of the dishes I ordered seemed to change on the menu. The tomato salad and lamb belly I had the first time were not there this time. The lamb belly is also highly recommended; it’s very tender, slightly sweet, and rich in fat – quite nice, give it a try. #LondonFood #MeatLover #JobHuntingInUK #FoodDiary #DailyFoodShare #UKFoodExploration #EmbassyGardens #WesternCuisine
