London Restaurant | Andrew Edmunds - A Must-Visit for Dates

A famous spot in Soho that’s been open for over thirty years and has featured on numerous food lists. It bills itself as modern European cuisine, but it’s actually quite British (in a good way), and the portions are huge! If you’re one of those who can’t get full on pretty dishes, you’re in luck. The decor is full of ambiance, with spacious distances between tables, offering plenty of privacy. With flowers in vases, candles lit, and a sip of wine, the whole intimate, romantic candlelit dinner vibe is set. 🌟 Smoked Ox Tongue 🌟 Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, it melts in your mouth. Paired with pickles, it’s incredibly refreshing! 🌟 Pressed Pig Head 🌟 It’s a bit like spam, but the texture is much fresher. 🌟 Braised Ox Cheek 🌟 The tender braised beef cheek with mashed potatoes and carrots might not be an unusual dish, but it’s guaranteed to leave you satisfied, enjoy your food coma! 🌟 Roast Partridge 🌟 The only dish that was a miss. A whole partridge is served, which can be a hassle if you’re not skilled in carving. Plus, the flavor didn’t permeate the meat, making it too bland. 🌟 Dessert 🌟 Consistently good, the rice pudding and various cakes are all reliable choices. Once again, I’m amazed at the generous portions! Similar style restaurants include Cora Pearl and Kitty Fisher, both of which I also recommend. #LondonDateRestaurant #HiddenGemRestaurant #LondonLife #BritishCuisine
