London Weekend | Petting Capybaras

As a lover of capybaras, I've always wanted to get up close and personal to absorb their tranquil energy. There's a zoo and amusement park in London called Hobbledown Heath. The park is home to 5 capybaras, two of which are quite small, only about 2 years old. Feeding them is a short activity, lasting only about 15-20 minutes, but it's incredibly therapeutic~I highly recommend it. There are only two time slots in a day: 12:15 pm and 3:15 pm. Only 4 people are allowed in each session, so space is limited and tickets sell out fast. If you need to book tickets for weekends, it's best to do so 1 to 2 months in advance. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the park entrance to the capybara area. The official recommendation is to arrive 15 minutes early. ✍🏻 Capybara + Fun Fact Before petting the capybaras, you need to sign a safety notice. Then you'll be asked to wear gloves before entering and sitting down to feed them. Capybaras, like humans, don't particularly enjoy food that's too "green." They prefer sweeter foods like sweet potatoes/carrots. I tried feeding them several times with leafy greens/cilantro, but they weren't interested. They only ate reluctantly when there was nothing else left. They really enjoy being stroked on their neck, feet, and body. 💰 Price £55 per person. This price includes Park Entry. In addition to the capybara experience, you can also see other animals. There are also many amusement rides, making it especially suitable for children. It seems that most of the park's visitors are families with kids coming to play. #LondonLife #LondonCapybara #Capybara #AdorableLondonCapybara #LondonZoo #WhereToGoForTheWeekendInLondon
