The 2 Stars Were For Lovely Staffs That There Was.. No One Seemed To Know Anything & Hardly Any Staff Around So Once You Leave Soft Play If U Get Lost Be Ready To Walk all the way back to reception to ask a question.. I first asked for a Map as it’s my first time didn’t have a clue what was going on and where was what BUT they apparently ran out of Maps :/ imagine paying £117.50 Just For Entry And it basically in short and most easiest way to describe this place is Its Just A Big Soft Play with park outside and small like farm area with animals. So Gutted I wasted my money & day here as I travelled so far I Really Wanted to go RIVERSIDE HUB in Northampton but because this was a tad closer I chose this.. I was even contemplating weather to do from 2.30pm session and wish I did I rushed in morning when I could have paid £6 to go to my big local soft play then park outside it same thing. I’d say in summer it’d be nice n cute to waste a day there. One thing I DO NOT understand is WHY an earth does parents Have to pay FULL price for entry imagine two adults basically paying £50 to sit and watch their child play if it’s that price for kids that’s fine even that’s a lot for what it is id say no more than £10 worth of place because when u get inside your still spending on things like food etc it all adds up I spent like £50 on food and it was Disgusting I thought getting something as basic as Margarita Pizza you couldn’t go wrong but it was just sloppy cheese a hell lot of cheese and eww no thank you I didn’t eat it let that go to waste not that I wanted to but my stomach wasn’t about to accept that. Chips wasn’t even all that.
The best slide that I saw on their video..SHOCKING WAS NOT WORKING!! Slush Machine NOT Working!! Prob the best two things going in that place..
It’s very clean tho considering the amount of children and I think they just make a lot of money by letting everyone in it’s wayyyy too packed have to wait each time to move around and take turns to do things.
Overall would Never go back if there’s a cheap deal and your local then that’s great it’s a shout in the summer very lovely for nature and animals..
The Owl/Bird people were lovely with their shows :)
Receptionist sent me walking to the furthest place after announcing a show at 12.15 I walked around no one knew anything only when I called up the contact centre guy called Alex confirmed the place and I KiD u not it was right outside the soft play near reception so girl had me doing a whole 360 given wrong info and on top ran out of Maps. By the time I got there it was finto finished and wasn’t even a show it was just bunch of kids playing games.
Lovely restaurant staffs tho thank you :)
I think this place for the amount of children they let in they should definitely have more staff everywhere and throughout each section of the building for health and safety!!
As I was given any information on the day I didn’t have a clue so just stuck to soft play and what they pointed outside which was park and animals but now seeing others reviews there were beautiful Tulips but nope didn’t see it wasn’t told of...
Read moreno water points for drinking water ,no food or drink concessions in the whole park except the barn at the beginning , no staff no shows or signage re shows or feeding times etc ..
v poor visited and bought tickets the night before when we got there scanned in was not welcomed warmly . no one told us anything on scanning in but seemed nice inside to start .
was a sunny day so we skipped the indoor playbarn for obvious reasons .
went to a show we stumbled upon there's no boards with other shows on or signage on about events on during the day.. no leaflets given out about the days schedule ,so saw no more shows ,as had no idea when or where they might be (not that i think there were any)!
there was a high trampoline but that was closed
the zorbing as closed
we went to an outdoor play areas part which was lovely stayed ages there ,but i really needed a drink but an earlier concession was closed outside so thought i’d get one further on . walked to a further play area further on and they were nice but throughout the day the cafe areas in the park were all closed shuttered up there were no water stations for drinking water either
really nowhere to buy food or water in the park!
and nowhere with shade to sit in no umbrellas at tables or canopy for adults /and small children to sit under
the only place was back at the beginning in the barn (which with a child is difficult to manage once your halfway round the park)
there were absolutely no staff around and only things outside were the play areas ,and animals nothing else
when after 5 hours we went to the soft play area where i finally did find coffee and quite nice food but this area was rammed.
and the soft play was not manned either ,no staff i was looking for staff because there were teen boys blocking the slides sat on their phones bullying the small children my grandaughter was quite upset and i couldn't find anyone to tell or get help about this
it was quite a disappointing day out because it could have been so good ,very poorly managed .
if you go take loads of food and drinks especially because there is nothing outside
there was no water play so don't bother with a swim suit
if it’s sunny take an umbrella
lots of stuff closed
and lots of extras to pay for (anything good is extra )
no shade
not the best
other places are miles better with show schedules and things around like ice creams to buy
could be so much better badly...
Read moreLoved this place! I saw this place online but it’s too far for me to do a day trip from Nottingham so I did a 3 day trip to London with my grandaughter who is 5. First day we went to the paradox museum and saw the sights, second day hobbledown and the last day science and natural history museums. The day we spent at hobbledown was my granddaughter’s favourite by far. We found the science museum pretty boring even tho I paid for wonderlabs. I find the science museum interesting myself but my 5 year old isn’t interested in looking at the first wooden steam train is she? Hobbledown tho was well worth the trip. It took us about an hour from Earl’s Court. You have to get the tube to Hounslow and then get on a bus and take a short 10 min journey to hobbledown. I found it a bit confusing which side of the road to get the bus from on the way there but the buses are every 5 minutes so not too much of a problem. The bus you need is the 116 or 117. I don’t quite know how to describe it, it’s not a theme park as there aren’t any rides and it’s so much more than a playground. It’s like a load of big playgrounds dotted about the site with a load of these giant inflatable pillows for the kids to bounce on. There’s also water filled ones. There’s a big indoor soft play area and animals too. Farm animals like goats, llamas (I think they were llamas) some beautiful highland cows, ostriches, an owl etc. I especially loved the firepit just outside the restaurant as you could buy a stick of marshmallows for £1:50 and toast them yourself over the firepit. We had a pizza for lunch and it was a nice homemade pizza with real dough base and not frozen. Nothing special but nice enough. I paid an extra £5 each to enter the net park and really pleased I did. It’s a playground made out of nets with 4/5 stories and tunnels and slides for you to climb on and bounce in. It’s only for the over 4’s and if your child is 4-6 you have to accompany them so I had to go on it aswel but it was fun. You get a wrist band to enter this part and you can come and go as you please. It was the first week of the 6 weeks holidays and it wasn’t too busy at all. I could always find a seat while my grandaughter was playing. I don’t think I’ll get the chance to go back as it’s such a long way from where I live but if you get the chance to take your kids I’d defo do it. It was by far the most fun we had while we...
