Long Weekend Food Guide: Brunch in Oakville
Kick off your wonderful long weekend with delicious food 🥞 Today, I visited two brunch spots, both located on Kerr St in Oakville, about a 5-minute walk apart. These are both viral brunch restaurants in Oakville 📍 Kerr St Cafe 💰 Price per person: ~$25 ☕ Cappuccino: $4.5 ☕ Cold Brew: $5.5 🥞 Pancakes: $21 (I found them a bit dry, not soft enough) 🥚 Cornbread Florentine: $18 This place is super popular—we arrived around 12 PM and had to wait ~30 mins. But honestly, the flavors were just okay, nothing extraordinary. While waiting, we checked out another famous brunch spot on Kerr St: 📍 Narenj Their menu is smaller compared to Kerr St Cafe, with a focus on shakshuka (North African eggs). However, their bakery is absolutely amazing—the kind that makes it impossible to leave without buying something! For example, I got a Fig & Pistachio Cream Tart (fig & pistachio is my ultimate white-people-food weakness). Most importantly—it’s not too sweet! A total dream! Though a bit pricey… This tart cost me over $12 after tax, but the café’s aesthetic is super Instagrammable—great for photos! 📷 🍂 Kerr St has lots of other cute little shops perfect for exploring and snacking. Highly recommend checking out Oakville for a food adventure! #Cafe #FoodieCheckIn #Brunch #TorontoLife #FoodDiary #WhatToEatForBreakfast #TorontoFoodExploration #CaptureTheMoment #MyFoodJournal #FoodShare #TorontoBrunch #WeekendFoodTour
