āļø This Korean-style grill spot is a legendary late-night canteen for downtown folks—open until 2 AM! It’s one of my all-time favorite restaurants. Whenever I can’t decide what to eat, I end up here. The place is always packed; I’ve visited over five times, and every time there’s a line—especially on weekends! 🄲 The plaza where it’s located offers valet parking: $4 cash, or card with a small fee. āļø The restaurant isn’t huge, and from the outside, it looks like an old-school building. But once you step inside, the energy hits you—lively conversations, the sizzle of grilling skewers, and the clinking of glasses fill the space. šŸŽ‰ The staff greets you in Korean and leads you to your seat. The menu is creatively designed on a wooden board, like holding a royal token 🪵, featuring a variety of skewers and stir-fried dishes. Recently, they added a new rule: you must order a drink to get skewers. So we symbolically got a pot of rice wine šŸ¶, which came with a bowl of soup and some pickled radish and celery sticks—perfect accompaniments! šŸ«“ Seafood Pancake: This is a must-order for me every time! Crispy, flavorful, and served with their secret spicy sauce—absolutely delicious! I’ve also tried the Potato Pancake, which was good but got a bit heavy after two pieces. So I highly recommend the seafood version! 🦐 🦪 Clam Soup: Another favorite, especially on a cold winter night—this soup warms you right up! The clams are plentiful, and the broth is savory with a hint of spice—the spicier, the better! šŸŒ¶ļø šŸ¦‘ Stir-Fried Squid: The aroma when it arrives is irresistible—a perfect dish to enjoy with drinks! šŸ» āļø Here are some skewers I highly recommend: šŸš Rice Cake: A must-try! Crispy on the outside, soft inside, brushed with spicy sauce—each bite is heavenly! 🄩 Beef Short Ribs: We ordered several plates—so tender and flavorful! šŸ” Chicken Gizzard: Grilled to perfection—crispy and delicious! šŸ… Tomato Bacon: Sweet and tangy cherry tomatoes wrapped in bacon—juicy bursts with every bite! šŸ  Name: Dan Sung Sa šŸ“ Address: 3317 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA 90020 ā° Hours: Everyday 4:00 PM—2:00 AM 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 In summary, this is a true hidden gem and the ultimate spot for late-night eats. Chatting with friends over drinks and skewers here is pure happiness! šŸ’– The only downsides? You now have to order drinks to get skewers, and because it’s always busy, sometimes it’s hard to flag down a server! šŸ˜‚ Have you been here before?
