Luang Prabang Incomplete Food Notes 🇱🇦

sweetest restaurant Not many people seem to recommend this place, but the food is amazing 😋. 🐟It’s a bit off the beaten path and hard to find, tucked away in an alley. Their seasoning is spot on! I loved the stir-fried rice noodles and omelette 🤤.👣 The garlic toast is super fragrant when eaten hot 🍞, and the milkshakes are rich and creamy too.💖 Lost in bann A Western restaurant with a lovely ambiance 🍷. The combination of curry, cheese, red wine, and prickly pear was a nice surprise—the sweet and salty flavors balanced perfectly 🍐. The banana peanut butter ice cream was rich and creamy 🍨; the black truffle pasta was decent but nothing special.👀 good people good rice Located at the end of (Foreigner Street), the restaurant is popular with local students. It wins points for large portions, low prices, and good taste—amazing value for money. 🍋🍋 You can’t go wrong with the rice bowls or stir-fried noodles 🍝. Morning Market Noodle Shop I popped in randomly while exploring the morning market.🍝🍝 💓Turns out, just a few steps away is the more popular khao soi shop on Xiaohongshu, but I stayed here because they had smoothies 🤣. Btw, the food was good! 👍👍 The noodles were soft, the broth was fresh, and both the clear and red broths had their own unique flavors. If you like pho, you’ll probably enjoy this 🍲. manda de laos🍡 The super popular water lily restaurant! Unfortunately, I arrived late and didn’t get a lakeside seat, but the atmosphere was still great. Listening to the rain while admiring the water lilies was so relaxing 🪷. The food was better than most “pretty-looking” restaurants—it’s a bit like Dai cuisine, with lots of fragrant spices 🌶️. The DIY laap is a standout; the waiter mixes it fresh according to your preferences!🥩 khemkhong view restaurant🌰🌰 The restaurant specializes in Lao BBQ—grilling meat while boiling vegetables on the side. There’s a good variety of meats, and portions are decent 🥩. Sipping Lao beer, feeling the breeze from the Mekong River, and watching the sunset was incredibly (pleasant) 🥰. (P.S. The waiters might secretly use a high exchange rate to calculate your bill…. Better to do the math yourself or pay in cash directly.)🍝🍝 sahai coffee🍟🍟 I ordered two fancy-looking drinks, but honestly, they were forgettable. The prices are also on the higher side for (Foreigner Street).🥗🥗 But the bacon in the bacon, egg, and meat burger was nicely crispy— that was a highlight 🥓. Catalina Fruit Smoothie💓 After trying smoothies at almost every spot, I found this one has the strongest fruit flavor and best texture! 🍈🍈 You can even DIY your own combination 🥑. The avocado smoothie was super creamy. Sitting by the roadside in the afternoon, zoning out with a smoothie in hand—pure bliss 🍹. Joma bakery coffee🍮🍮 I went to the branch with the green storefront—it’s definitely more photogenic. Their signature carrot cake was soft but a bit too sweet; the sandwiches were hearty and filling 🥪. dada coffee They’re known for their pour-over coffee, but their baked goods are tasty too.💗 The staff were friendly, and the croissant was crispy and flaky after being heated 🥐. #MyTreasureFoodCollection #LuangPrabangFood #LuangPrabangGuide #AuthenticFoodWhileTraveling
