Luxembourg | Spanish Restaurant El Barrio

My favorite Spanish restaurant in Luxembourg! Hands down! The seafood rice 🄘 (Arroz de Marisco) is even better than some restaurants in Spain. It’s served per person, with a minimum order for two. The foie gras bread with chili (Montadito Barrio) is delicious! Not spicy at all, the sauce is surprisingly sweet, and the freshness of the chili perfectly balances the richness of the foie gras, adding layers to the taste. Garlic clams 🦐 (Almejas con Chorizo y Ajo) come in both round and long varieties (razor clams Navajas). Personally, I prefer the round ones, with their delicate meat. But some friends might prefer the long ones; it’s all about personal taste. Fried squid with garlic mayonnaise (Chipirones con Aioli) is so good! The squid is crispy outside and tender inside. I absolutely love this sauce! It seems like it would go well with anything. The Iberian ham (Jamón IbĆ©rico) was a bit of a letdown, quite dry and not as rich. I’m not sure if it’s authentic Iberian ham, but the tomato bread it comes with is still delicious. For drinks, of course, it has to be Spain’s national drink, SangrĆa šŸ·. Both the red and white options are delicious and safe to order blindly. The Pina Colada šŸ¹ is also a good choice. The restaurant is located in a great spot, right on the Kirchberg T1 tram line at the Coque station. #LuxembourgFood #LuxembourgFoodExploration #LuxembourgTravel #LuxembourgDining #WhatToEatInLuxembourgToday #LuxembourgRestaurants #LuxembourgHiddenGems #MustEatInLuxembourg #LuxembourgLife #GlobalFoodieSquad
