Luxor Souvenir Shopping: Find This Boss! 👆🛍️
Everyone says Luxor is full of scammers, but my actual experience wasn’t that bad (maybe because my expectations were low 😅). I even met a very friendly shop owner! 📍 Luxor Market (near the temples, opposite a McDonald’s 🍔) I found this deeper inside the market. The boss was super nice! His shop sells: Stone paintings (3 materials: granite, quartzite, slate). We bought quartzite (lighter weight), bargained to 250 EGP for a ~20cm piece. Candle covers (translucent and beautiful 🌟), also 250 EGP after bargaining. Pyramid sculptures (not the smallest size), 50 EGP each. Prices are reasonable, and he packages properly (not just plastic bags! 🎁). 🛒 Other purchases: Robe for 500 EGP (asked 1k, but I could’ve bargained harder 😂). The boss altered the length for free (asked for $1 tip but we didn’t pay). Incense for 100 EGP (asked $4). Smells great! 🪔 ⚠️ Shopping Tips: Ignore or wave off street hustlers 🚫. It’s okay to ask prices without buying. Look for honest-looking shop owners! 👀 Deeper inside = cheaper prices. Bargain starting from 1/2 the asking price! Compare prices—many similar shops around 🏺. Don’t be shy! If the price isn’t right, walk away—they’ll often call you back! 💁♂️ #Egypt #Luxor #LuxorSouvenirs #AvoidScams #AbuSimbelTemple #EgyptTravel 🇪🇬✨
