Mémé Mediterranean | Foodie Adventure (1)🌿
📅 Friday, Cloudy Mémé Mediterranean 📍 607 10th Ave, New York, NY 10036 A Mediterranean gem I visited last week—surprisingly under-the-radar on Xiaohongshu (how hasn’t this place gone viral yet? It’s amazing!) The Chicken Tagine is a slow-cooked chicken leg with apricots, raisins, almonds, couscous, and carrots, all served in a clay pot. 🌊 The pairing with fruit is so creative, and the chicken is tender and flavorful. The sweetness of the fruit complements the juicy chicken, and the couscous at the bottom soaks up all the delicious broth. It’s a must-try! The portion is huge, so I’d recommend sharing. 🍗 🌊The Grilled Shrimp and Scallop Risotto is out of this world! The creamy risotto is paired with fresh seafood—tender shrimp and succulent scallops. The spices add just the right amount of flavor. Perfetto! 👏 (This deserves an Italian chef’s kiss gesture.) The Shawarma Royale features chicken, beef, and lamb. Once again, the spices are on point. The slightly charred, roasted meat wrapped in a pita is simply irresistible. 🍔 The restaurant is located on 10th Avenue, close to the Hudson River. After dinner, take a stroll by the river to catch the sunset. It’s the perfect way to end the day. 🌇 #NewYork 🌊
