Maldives travel diary--Lily Island
Lily Island 🌊 The Maldives has a very well-organized island transfer service, so our transfer went smoothly. Staff handled our luggage the whole way, and we just had to follow along. ✨We mainly wanted to experience snorkeling, and Lily Island truly lives up to its reputation as a snorkeling paradise. No matter where you dive in, there are corals and fish everywhere, which was a fantastic experience. 🌟At Lily Island, we chose the Platinum all-inclusive package, which includes all meals and drinks, so there were almost no additional expenses once we arrived. It was all about enjoying ourselves without any worries. The free drinks were really friendly for someone like me who has a high demand for alcohol. During our 5-day stay, I was either soaking in the sea or drinking at the bar 🍺. The bartenders even remembered me! 🌈Lily Island offers three complimentary excursions, and I must praise the snorkeling guide who took us to see the corals. He was incredibly helpful, always showing me beautiful corals and doing his best to help me find sea turtles. Other Notes 🙋♀️ ❗There are a lot of mosquitoes in the Maldives, so be sure to bring mosquito repellent; otherwise, you'll be itching all over from bites. ❗I got sunburned on my first day out at sea; the UV rays are really strong, so be serious about sun protection. ❗You really don't need to bring cosmetics; I only used mine once because I was in the water all day. ❗If you don't mind sharing snorkeling equipment, both islands offer free rentals. ❗On the local island, you can experience the local culture, while the resort island offers high-end service. If time permits, I still recommend experiencing both islands. #MaldivesIslandSelection #Maldives #LilyIslandMaldives#Maldives island#trip diary#travel guide#Maldives travel #Maldives diary#Thinadhoo
