Maldives Travel FuliDhoo Island Experience(3)
Food: The local Western food didn’t sit well with us. We highly recommend the Chinese restaurant (see photo ⑥) where the fish and spicy chicken were amazing. The chef from Guangxi was very friendly, and we pretty much ate all our meals there. 🍲 Costs: Prices are about three times higher than domestic tourist spots in China, but it’s still much cheaper than staying on a resort island. There are only a few small shops on the island where you can buy basic necessities. There’s not much to do at night; alcohol is not allowed. Locals usually just listen to music and eat. We would take a walk around the dock and then head back to our room to edit photos and rest. 🛒 Sun Protection: The UV rays are super strong. After five days, I turned into a little black girl! 👧🏽 👧🏾 👧🏿 Weather: The weather in the Maldives is all about luck. Even during the dry season, it can rain unexpectedly. We had three or four showers during our stay, but luckily they were short and didn’t affect our experience. ☔ Overall: The scenery on Fulidhoo is just as beautiful as on the resort islands. It’s definitely worth a visit for those on a budget. 🌴 Enjoy your trip! 🌴 #Maldives #Asia
