Guide to Exploring Male City from the Airport First, we stored our luggage at the airport. It cost 7 USD per piece 🎒. After exiting the international airport, walk towards the seaside and turn left. Look for the sign "Ferry to Male"—that’s your ride 🚢. The one-way ferry ticket is 1 USD per person, and the return ticket is also 1 USD. Only cash is accepted, so make sure to prepare in advance 💰. The ferry takes about 10 minutes to reach the city on the opposite side ⏱️. After disembarking, turn left to find the Blue Mosque and the artificial beach, where you can watch locals hanging out and having fun 🏖️. Then turn right and you’ll pass by the Presidential Palace 🏛️. Eventually, we made our way to the Fish Market 🐟. Across from the Fish Market, there’s a green building; walk toward the shore from there to spot rays 🦐. If you get lost, ask at a convenience store for directions. Stay safe—motorcycles on the roads are very fast 🏍️! Ignore anyone who approaches you offering to be a guide 🙅♀️. Around 5:30 PM, locals start feeding the rays. By 6:00 PM, the sun sets, and many people are fishing. The sunset is absolutely stunning 🌅! Finally, we ate at Sala Thai before heading back to the pier. The food was extremely spicy 🌶️. The return pier is to the left of where you arrived. If you’re unsure, ask staff if it’s the ferry to the international airport 🧑💼. Ferries run every 15 minutes during the day. After 9:30 PM, they run every 30 minutes ⏲️. Be sure to keep an eye on your return flight time ✈️. We spent three hours exploring Male, and it was a bit tiring 😮💨. #MaldivesGuide #MaleTravel #MaleGuide
