Malmö – A City Where No Two Buildings Are Alike

🌟 Compact and walkable. Public transport tickets must be bought in advance via the Skånetrafiken app—single or 24-hour passes for Malmö only, or Malmö–Lund combos. Groups of two or more get 25 % off. 💙 Few paid sights, and tickets are cheap—usually just a few dozen SEK. The only combo ticket I found pairs Malmö Castle with the Submarine Museum. 💙 Exhibitions are small. At Form/Design Center and the Modern Art Museum you’ll find drop-in workshops stocked with craft materials—classic Nordic style. 🌟 St Peter’s Church is all white inside: elegant and serene. 🌟 The City Library has a great layout—giant glass walls frame views of the adjoining park. 📌 Cross the park to reach the castle. Allow time for the exhibitions and the playful yard games—worth a pause. 📌 The submarine (same combo ticket) is a hands-on museum: displays, science demos, and a walk-through sub. Upstairs gaming zone is brilliantly designed—fun for kids and adults alike. 🍀Pildammsparken (“Willow Pond Park”) lives up to its name: tall tree walls, lakes, sweeping lawns, pocket gardens, and forest paths. 🍀 Pair Turning Torso with the seaside. After countless skyscrapers, the twisted tower didn’t wow me, but the beach, dunes, and wide lawns are lovely. Stay for the 9 p.m. summer sunset if you can—it’s spectacular. 🍀 Beyond the sights, wander the old town and waterfront. Every house is different; it’s an endlessly charming city. #MalmöTravel #NatureViews #HiddenCityCorners #Sweden
