Mammamia

📍 Mammamia, Piazza del Mercato Nuovo, 18/r, 50123 Firenze FI I finally got to try the pizza🍕 that everyone in Florence has been raving about! I had heard about it from a friend and decided to visit today. The location is easy to find—it’s right next to the wild boar statue in Florence and beside the popular lampredotto food cart! The ambiance is typical of a rustic Florentine restaurant. We arrived at 7 p.m., and it wasn’t too crowded. We ordered a risotto and the recommended Mammamia pizza, both of which were quite delicious. The risotto we chose had pancetta (bacon), guanciale (a type of cured pork cheek), and some mushrooms🍄. It was really tasty—probably the best meaty risotto I’ve ever had. The broth flavor was rich and fresh. Sprinkling Parmigiano on top was pure bliss.😍 The Mammamia pizza is a cheese lover’s dream! It features mozzarella, burrata, and truffle. I highly recommend it for cheese enthusiasts. The crust was also well-baked and fragrant. I usually don’t like pizza crust, but I ate it all this time. haha.đŸ€« We spent €33.5 on two pizzas, a meal, and a bottle of water—definitely worth it! I’m full and happy.đŸ„° I highly recommend this place to everyone! #ItalianStudentLife #FlorenceCuisine #Florence #Foodie #Italy #LivingInItaly #StudyInItaly #FlorenceTravel
