Manchester Surroundings | Hidden Gem Large Park - Tatton Park Day Trip

Tatton Park is a historic manor with a neoclassical mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens, a 1000-acre deer park, a farm with rare breeds, and an old medieval hall. The manor is not far from both Liverpool and Manchester. We spent about 5 hours in the park, which was very relaxing. However, due to its vast size, it was quite tiring~But it's definitely a great place to visit on the weekend~😉 Route: Get off at Knutsford train station and navigate to Tatton Park - Knutsford Entrance to enter the manor~ 🥾Hiking in Tatton Park, you will pass by two large lakes (Tatton Mere, Melchett Mere), with various waterfowl playing in them 🦢🦆. The tall trees, lush vegetation, and vast green spaces made me feel like I had been transported to the ancient jungle and wilderness, which was astonishing! To our surprise, the park also has reindeer, sika deer, and sheep 🫎🐑, giving us the feeling of stumbling into a wildlife park. Additionally, there were many dogs walking with their owners, enjoying their freedom~ 🌳On the north side of the manor, there is a landscaped garden (The Gardens), covering 50 acres, with greenhouses, various vegetables, fruit trees, lush vegetation, and a 100-year-old garden, etc. There is an admission fee to enter the landscaped garden (adults £9). Dining: We had lunch at the restaurant in the manor, with baked potatoes served with spicy beef sauce and a vegetable salad, which was quite good~😋 Spent a wonderful day at Tatton Park, recommended for a visit~🌟 #UK #ManchesterSurroundings #LiverpoolSurroundings #OverseasLife #UKManorRecommendation #DayTrip #Park #WeekendGetaway
