Friends raved about this restaurant — and for good reason. It’s been family-run for four generations! I ordered a Friday special to-go: Creole Stuffed Eggplant (with shrimp and ham) served over pasta, plus a Caesar salad on the side. The bread was toasted to perfection 🥖. The server was wonderful and super friendly, and the manager even brought extra sauce without us asking. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Known for its Italian and seafood dishes, Mandina’s also has a reputation for amazing fried chicken — something I’ll definitely try next time!
