Spent Christmas 2024 (Dec 25-31) in Maui—perfect weather and breathtaking views! 🎄☀️ Highlights: ⛰️ Haleakalā National Park Drove from sea level to 10,000+ ft summit! 🚗💨 Pick up a personalized certificate at the visitor center 🏆 Mild altitude sickness—manageable for most. Hiked the crater, watched clouds sea 🌥️, and caught sunset! 🌅 🚗 Road to Hana Winding jungle drive 🌿—many single-lane sections! Drive carefully! Countless scenic stops along the way 🍃 🔴 Kaihalulu Beach (Red Sand Beach) Took a scenic trail to reach it—totally worth it! Vibrant red sand—stunning in person and on camera 📸 🌊 Ho'okipa Beach Park Huge waves + epic views! 🏄♂️ Spot sea turtles on the far right side 🐢 💦 Twin Falls Waterfalls along Road to Hana—similar to others. Parking was tough + paid entry 💸 Saw cliff jumpers—thrilling but risky! 😮 🐷 Old Lahaina Luau Traditional Hawaiian feast + cultural Unlimited food & drinks 🍍🥥 Immersive and fun! 🌙 Molokini Islet Snorkeling Boat trip to crescent-shaped island 🚤 Tons of fish 🐠 + easy snorkeling!
