Mazatlán, Mexico | Must-Try Local Snacks Recommendation 😋
Since I couldn’t find much info on Mazatlán snacks before my trip, I decided to taste-test some local goodies and share my discoveries with you all! 🦐 Dried Shrimp (Top Left) Bought from a street vendor—think jumbo shrimp jerky! A bit salty on its own, but would pair perfectly with congee to satisfy those Chinese food cravings. Comes in different sizes at varying prices—great for snacking! 🌶️ Spicy Fruit Snacks (Top Right & Second Row Left 1 & 2) Top Right: Chili-Salted Cranberries Like Costco’s cranberries but coated in chunky salt and chili flakes. Starts salty, then sweet-tart, finishing with a spicy kick. (FYI: Your fingers might turn red after eating too many!) Second Row Left 1: Chili-Dusted Mango Similar to Costco’s mango slices but with fine chili powder. Salty-spicy first, then sweet-sour. Second Row Middle: Chili Pineapple Bites (My Fave! 🍍) Not your typical chewy pineapple jerky—this one’s crumbly, mildly sweet, and perfectly balanced with chili. No sticky teeth, just layered flavors. Highly recommend! 🍬 Marshmallows (Bottom Right) Meh. The piña colada-flavored ones were overly sugary and cloying. Skip these. 🥥 Coconut Marshmallows (Not Pictured – But a MUST!) Unlike typical dry marshmallows, these are soft, bouncy (duang~), and lightly sweet with a subtle coconut aroma, rolled in shredded coconut. 10/10! Personal Ranking: Coconut Marshmallows Chili Pineapple Bites Chili Mango Chili Cranberries Dried Shrimp Have Fun Snacking! #SnackRecs #MexicanFood #Mazatlan #SnackReview #Travel #MexicoTravel #UniqueSnacks #OffbeatMexico #FoodieFinds #NorthAmericaHiddenGems #MexicoTourism
