McKinney Food Discovery|Such a Beautiful & Delicious Place

I really love the style of this restaurant—it's rustic, countryside, and vintage 🖼️, perfect for dates and gatherings 🥂. The restaurant recently moved to a new location, which is much larger and has three floors. The menu changes slightly depending on the season and time of day, and most ingredients are sourced from local farms, emphasizing support for the local community. ✨ Fried Ribs and Pickle (not available this time) Sweet and savory, incredibly tender—the meat falls right off the bone with a fork. Paired with pickles 🥒, it's quite appetizing. I was really hoping to order it this time, but it wasn't available…so sad. Hopefully, it'll be back soon! ✨ Pimento and Cheese Rich and delicious 🧀, very flavorful. The jalapeños 🌶️ really stand out! Served with thick, crispy chips—so good. ✨ Beets Hummus If you like tangy, refreshing appetizers, go for this! Recommended by our server this time. The color is gorgeous 🎀, served with thin sweet potato chips and fresh carrot slices. 🥰 Chili Glazed Black Cod Really not good 👎 definitely do not order ❌. The puree underneath has fava beans. I usually love fava beans, but in this sauce, they feel out of place and even a bit bitter. 🥰 Pan Roasted Red Fish So delicious! This is one of their signature dishes. The potato puree pairs perfectly with the red fish. The skin is slightly crispy. Yum yum! 🥰 Blackened Striped Bass Loved the rice underneath—full of flavor but doesn’t overpower the freshness of the fish. 🥰 Chicken Fried Steak Huge portion! If you're worried about not getting full, order this. The taste is pretty standard, though—feels like something you could get anywhere.
