Measure Bratislava with your footsteps.

📚 When I was studying history in middle school, I memorized it like this: During the upheaval in Eastern Europe, Yugoslavia split into five, and Czechoslovakia split into two... Czech and Slovak just seem to sound better when said together. Since I was already in the Czech Republic, it felt natural to also visit Slovakia and check it off my list. 🧳 I spent a day exploring this unique capital, the only one in the world that borders two neighboring countries. Before I left, I finally got the hang of saying the capital's name smoothly: Bratislava. 👋🏻 1️⃣ Slovak National Gallery (Slovenská národná galéria) 2️⃣ Plague Column (Morový stĺp) 3️⃣ St. Martin's Cathedral (Dóm sv. Martina) 4️⃣ The Watchman (Čumil) 5️⃣ Main Square (Hlavné námestie) 6️⃣ Roland Fountain (Maximiliánova fontána) 7️⃣ Church of the Holy Saviour (Kostol Najsvätejšieho Spasiteľa) 8️⃣ Bratislava Old Town Hall (Stará radnica) 9️⃣ Apponyi Palace (Apponyiho palác) 🔟 Slovak National Theatre (Slovenské národné divadlo) 1️⃣1️⃣ Blue Church (Church of St. Elizabeth, Farský kostol sv. Alžbety, Modrý kostolík) 1️⃣2️⃣ SNP Bridge (Most SNP, UFO Tower) 1️⃣3️⃣ Bratislava Castle (Bratislavský hrad) 1️⃣4️⃣ Michael's Gate (Michalská brána) #TravelGuide #BeautifulSceneryIsOnTheRoad #Slovakia #Bratislava #BratislavaTravel
