Medellín - Too Cool Not to Love
After spending 4-5 days in Medellín, I finally understand why this city has become such a popular digital nomad hotspot: 1️⃣ Perfect climate - At 1,400m altitude with year-round average of 22°C (currently 17-24°C in "winter"). Warmer than Bogotá/Salento I just visited, yet cooler than Cartagena where I'm headed next. 2️⃣ Café culture everywhere - Great for remote work with reasonable prices, quality coffee, and amazing ambiance. 3️⃣ Global cuisine - Korean, Japanese, Peruvian, French, Argentinian, Mexican, Spanish... everything except decent Chinese food 😅 4️⃣ Young & vibrant - Full of attractive, artsy locals with chill vibes everywhere. 5️⃣ Efficient transport - Metro, cable cars, Uber/Didi available. Yes it's congested, but getting around is easy. 6️⃣ Endless activities - Salsa lessons, Spanish classes, museums, social clubs, nightlife... never bored! 7️⃣ Stunning geography - Built across mountains with epic hiking, rafting and outdoor adventures nearby. Medellín offers incredible diversity - El Poblado's wealthy district feels like Shanghai's French Concession meets Bangkok, while places like Comuna 13 provide completely different cultural experiences. #Travel #Colombia #SouthAmerica #Medellin
