Melbourne's Time-Honored French Restaurant | France-soir 🍴

❣️ Baguette: Their baguette is really tasty, delicious when paired with butter or appetizer sauces. Because it was so good, I ordered another one. ❣️ Escargots de Bourgogne à l'ail 26: French garlic snails, paired with parsley and garlic butter, are full of aroma, but personally, they seem a bit bland. Salt and black pepper are provided on the table, so you can add a bit if needed. They're still great with the baguette. ❣️ Caille Rôti sauce périgourdine 29: The quail legs are as tender as ever, with a slightly crispy skin. The sauce is truffle-flavored, but the truffle taste is quite light. I still think scopri's is tastier. ❣️ Cassolette de St Jacques au Safran 34: Saffron scallops, the scallops are fresh without any fishy smell, but the scallops were a bit small that day, and the saffron flavor was also quite light. Like the quail, both have a creamy sauce, but I think the quail's sauce is tastier. ❣️ Cervelles d'agneau aux câpre 27: A classic fried lamb brain, completely free of any fishy smell, very clean and delicious, paired with pickled capers, very refreshing and less greasy. ❣️ Restaurant Name: France-soir Address: 11 Toorak Road, SouthYarra #RestaurantExploration #MelbourneFood #MelbourneRestaurantExploration #FrenchCuisine #France
